Who We Are

This site is operated by the owner of Kacha, a private long-stay villa located in Haad Salad, Ko Phangan, Thailand. Throughout this policy "we", "us" and "our" refer to the villa owner; "you" and "your" refer to the visitor or enquirer.

What We Collect

When you send us an enquiry through the form on this website, we collect: your name, your email address, your WhatsApp number (if provided), your preferred viewing date, and your intended stay duration. We also receive any free-text message you choose to send.

When you visit the site without sending an enquiry, our analytics provider (Google) may set a cookie and record anonymised information about your visit — pages viewed, country, device type, referrer. We use this only to understand which pages are working and which aren't.

How We Use It

Enquiry data is used solely to reply to your enquiry, confirm your dates, and handle your stay if you book. We do not send marketing emails, we do not pass your details to other companies, and we don't use your data for anything you wouldn't expect.

If you do not book, your enquiry is kept on file for up to twelve months in case you come back, then deleted.

Where Your Data Lives

Form submissions are processed through Formspree, which forwards them to our private email inbox. Email is stored with a standard email provider. WhatsApp messages are stored within WhatsApp's own systems. None of these providers use your data for marketing purposes on our behalf.

Cookies

We use two kinds of cookies: strictly necessary cookies (which keep the site working) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, used anonymously). We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting cookies, or any third-party trackers beyond Google Analytics.

Your Rights

You can ask us at any time to: confirm what data we hold about you, send you a copy of it, correct anything wrong, or delete everything. Just email hello@live-kacha.com with "Privacy" in the subject line. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

This site and our rentals are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the page. For substantial changes affecting how we use your data, we'll do our best to notify recent enquirers directly.
